ROUNDUP: 3 School Programs Now Open or Upcoming in Tomball, Magnolia

Three new school programs for preschoolers and older are now open or will soon be available at Tomball and Magnolia, Community Impact Journal reported.

1. Southwinds Christian Academy will open on August 17 at 16811 FM 2920, Tomball, according to the company. The private Christian school serves students from kindergarten through sixth grade. 281-351-7677.

2. Texas Autism Academy, which opened in 2017 at The Woodlands, announced it would open a second location at 32605 Tamina Road, Magnolia, in August. The school is a collaboration between TAA and The Grove ABA, which provides applied behavior analysis for people with autism and other conditions. The new school will be a pre-K program with an option for half-day ABA services through The Grove. The new site will also offer a curriculum for ages 12 to 16 focusing on essential Texas knowledge and skills at the middle and high school level, according to the school. 281-771-5348.

3. My Forest Village Preschool opened April 22 at 32623 FM 2978, Magnolia, co-owner Laura Carreras said. Nursery school is aimed at 3-5 year olds and promotes personal learning. It offers a hands-on curriculum and teaches children English and Spanish by interacting with real objects and situations. 346-646-3626.
