Drugs, guns found in car lead to 3 arrests in Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY (CW39) It started out as a routine traffic stop. Turned out to be even more than that. On May 26, 2021, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office stopped traffic on a vehicle in the 12175 block of the North Freeway.

The driver has been identified as 27-year-old James Thomas, a convict
criminal. Dominique Williams, 30, and Alicia Howard, 21, were also in the car.

A Canine gendarme intervened on the scene and told the assistants of the drugs in the vehicle. A search was carried out on the vehicle. Over 20 ounces of marijuana and two handguns, one of which was reported stolen Houston Police Department, were located inside.

The three suspects were arrested and interned in Harris County Jail. James Thomas has been charged with Felon in possession of a firearm. His bond was set at $ 5,000. Dominique Williams has been charged with criminal possession of marijuana and illegal carrying of a weapon. His total obligation was set at $ 2,600. Alicia Howard has been charged with criminal possession of marijuana. His bond was set at $ 2,500.
